About Me…..

Setting up Forever You as my own business is a new venture for me, not only in being my own boss, but also in joining the beauty and aesthetics industry.  My day job and career for the past decade has been that of an NMC Registered Midwife and I still currently work for the NHS.  I thoroughly enjoy being a midwife and in supporting my colleagues as well as the women and families that I care for and I have no desire to leave the NHS anytime soon; however, life is full of adventures and investing in yourself therefore I am proud to say this is the next step of my journey.

My interest in the beauty industry had always been somewhat passive, sure I used to get massages and facials and have always cleansed, toned and moisturised but then, as for us all, I started to get older.  I started to notice fine lines wrinkles appearing and that my skin was changing.  As I was approaching a milestone birthday I began researching more into skin care; I was interested to find out what else could be an option for me, to help me feel like I was looking my best, and perhaps younger(?); I also wanted to make myself feel better about what I was seeing in the mirror.  Of course I’d heard of treatments such as Chemical Peels, Microneedling, Botox and Fillers but it wasn’t a world I knew anything about and to be honest it all seemed a bit scary.

I’ve had very sensitive skin my whole life and can suffer from sudden allergic reactions therefore I’ve always been careful about what I use and who I trust. I found it difficult to find somewhere that (I felt) offered an honest and transparent service, where all the risks as well as the benefits were fully advertised and where I felt comfortable with their level of understanding of my concerns. I also noticed that as an approaching middle-aged woman I wasn’t the target audience and information wasn’t directed at me, or at my level of understanding; it was all ‘assumed knowledge’; and I felt, and dare I say it, invisible; so I decided to make this my goal. To help women and men who are on the edges of this world understand it; because from my research I know that you are out there!

My aim for Forever You is to deliver information in an informative, effective and honest way.  Where I explain specifically what treatments are and what is involved in an unbiased and ethical manner so that you feel fully informed and confident in the treatments you are undertaking.  I realise that there is a lot of interest in these types of services but the hesitation comes because you don’t feel comfortable asking the questions you need to ask.  Individual consultations are paramount to my business and match with my own code of ethics. It is just as important that I understand your motivations and expectations from treatments as well as you understanding what’s involved so that we can work together to achieve your goals; large or small.  At Forever You I want to ensure that each and every customer experience is positive, inclusive and rich and where the focus is on your holistic health and happiness.

I am open for business from February 2023 and hope to meet you very soon.
